vaguely but i remember. people, two, made a promise to celebrate my birthday. even though simple. but it would be too good if it's juz a cake and a song. i waited ever since they promised. because my birthdays weren't celebrated for years now. but that didn't happen.

it's my birthday today. dreadfully went to ngee ann for sch. played shitty soccer, through a damn class but i was reading my messages since during olevels.

memories.

everything changed. it did. i msged a few of my closest friends. they're busy and can't spend time at all with me, what to do, they're in JC. busy people have busy lifes. oh well.

this closest friend of mine. said once,
if i was feeling sad at any moment, tell her and she'l fly right over.
well i did. i hinted but i guess she didn't get it. i said i needed some company. she replied that she's busy, can't come. another close friend of mine said she's busy too. JC. there was another, i msged her i needa someone to talk to. she said she can't. so things have changed. it really did.

i really missed the days where, i had friends. i had close friends where we would laugh together and have fun together, doing normal things with extraordinary people, making everyday activities the greatest time of your life. it's gone now, i guess.

so i'm spending my birthday alone at home.

life sucks. does it? yes it does.

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

The Flay- How to save a life.
